What you can sell

Best Buy's launch announcement highlights brands such as Samsung, Microsoft, LG, Lenovo and HP, gaming gear such as keyboards, mice, monitors and headsets, mobile accessories such as cases and screen protectors, plus small appliances, furniture, seasonal decor and musical instruments (source).

Monitors, computers, laptops and accessories are not on Best Buy's list of excluded products, so brands can submit them. Best Buy still reviews every product assortment and can limit what a seller lists, and items on its excluded list need Best Buy's prior written consent (program policies).

Who can sell?

Best Buy lists four steps: apply, get approved and join, set up your store, and grow. Best Buy says: "Approval is subject to terms and conditions."

  • Sellers may only sell factory fresh, brand new products unless Best Buy gives express written consent for pre owned or refurbished items (standard terms).
  • Products must be in the original manufacturer's packaging, except as Best Buy's guidelines allow.
  • Sellers fulfill and ship their own orders.
  • Some product types can't be listed without Best Buy's prior written consent, as its program policies explain.
